This site will help collect and show the temperatures of Apple Macintosh computers using the new processors by Intel. All new computers that haven't faced the trail of time will have problems and issues that can make users mad and furious. As with the new MacBook Pro machines where were, and still are, problems with heat dissipation. After scouting forums and help sites for information about what temperatures I can expect on a new MacBook, but that turned out to be harder and more scattered than I first imagined. That's the main motive behind this site and it didn't take too long to setup as I had the base code handy from another site. -

Comments:
My CPU temperature is at 84° celsius by not using the smc fan control software wchich can set the fans to highrer rpms. By default the rpms are at 3500trs for both fans. But by setting the 2 fans at 4000 rpm the temperature is going to 70 °

Apple wants to make their macbook as less noisy as possible but for me their choice have negative impact for the macbook's life. So, i am using smc fan control and i created my profiles :

default : 2000rpm when i am working with office word

Encodage : 3700trs when i retouch movies with d-vision and when i play games

Multi-task : 3000rpm when the room temperature is quit hot (in july month for example)

Max : 6000trs, when i want to go down fastly the temperature , i use this profile for 30 secondes.

For now, i don't use windows on my macbook but i read that a macbook become really hot when you use windows on your mac, especially for windows Vista. I hope for Windows 7 it is better
